Christmas was good. Got to open presents with my family, Aaron and my sister's boyfriend, Witt. Christmas is a lot different now that I'm older. Although receiving is always nice, giving is the best. I love to see the look on peoples faces when they get something totally unexpected. Totally priceless :)
Aaron's family moved to New Jersey a little over a week ago. The last week of December I spent a lot of time with his family helping them move, clean, etc. I have come to the conclusion that I am not really as outgoing as I always say I am. I love his family, but I guess I get pretty quiet around them. Spending so much time with them got me to open up a little more and I got to have a good conversation with his sister, Arianna. It was good to sit down and actually talk to her. We have met and talked before but usually just your occasional small talk. I absolutely love his parents too. Just adore them. His mom is so sweet and soft spoken, and his dad is just about the funniest man ever. I'm gonna miss them. But Aaron comes back in two more weeks! :D
New Years Eve was a pretty good day. I slept in really late and kinda just laid around and watched some tv until about 3, then Stephanie came over. We painted our nails and picked out our outfits for the New Years Dance that night. After that I headed to Jenna's with Cassidy and we all got ready together. We picked up Andrew, Jordan and some kid that I didn't know and went to the dance. The dance wasn't what I had expected, but it was still fun. I got pretty tired around 10 but then when the new year was brought it, me and my friends got really energetic. Happy 2012 everyone! Hope it's your best year so far!
I think this year is going to be a hard one but it will be full of new experiences and fun also. A lot of my friends are going on missions this year. It's so weird that we are so old now. I cannot believe that Aaron is leaving ONE MONTH from today. So crazy. Writing him will be a good experience for me I think. It's going to be awesome to see the change in him (and his voice, Australian accents baby!! ;D). I also just realized I'm finally graduating next year! Hallelujah! Even with everything that is going to happen this year, I'm determined to make it a good one. :)
