Let's Start With Forever

"No amount of time with you will ever be long enough, but let's start with forever" Cutest quote ever from Breaking Dawn. <3

This weekend I went up to Northern Washington/Seattle and had an amazing time. Got to see an amazingly gorgeous sunset and spend a great day with Aaron. We sang a lot in the car on the way up and on the way back, we quoted movies and had a lot of laughs. We went to a place called Washington Park to see the sunset on the Puget Sound. SO gorgeous.

Before that we headed to Cabela's. I thought it was way cool in there. It's so big and all the taxidermy in there is totally incredible!
:)
Seattle was crazy crazy crowded but it was so great to see the lights at night. Everything is so colorful and lively. I wanted a picture while it was dark but I only got one as we were driving so its blurry :/ but you get the point.

The drive home was really fun.
We laughed so much and I don't even remember why. But I'm pretty sure I got a six pack from laughing so hard! It was just a really awesome day :):)

BYE.BYE.BYE.

SO I switched rooms.. sounds like so much fun. Not really. I had to clean my old room and toss out SO many useless things. I never knew I was such a hoarder of clothes.. I had clothes from the 6th grade in the back of my closet. Bye bye clothes! I also found writing from freshman year and a journal from 5th grade. Man how things change! I am now happy to say there is no clutter in my room now or in my closet and I made my new room very easy to keep clean! I got a new bed and comforter which I am super happy with! So cute!

Life is goooood :) Thanksgiving is in 9 days, Aaron comes home in 13 days and Christmas is in.. well.. I haven't really started counting yet.. Hope everyone has a great week and remember to give thanks during the next week or so! :)

Anyway.. My sister and I are super close. She has always been there for me when I need to talk and we can always tell each other everything. I'm going to really miss having her just a few feet away :/ BUT hopefully she will still stop by and come see her baby seeester and come play just dance with me! She also took all her shoes, clothes, purses and jewelry.. D: I may not look cute ever again... haha just kidding. Love you Muffin! Come visit us!!

"This is for you daddy"

Me and my daddy are going to dance to this at my wedding..

I am the baby of my family so I know that when I graduate and move out, my parents are going to have a hard time with that. My daddy knows I will always be "daddies little girl." I will admit, I am a daddies girl. Me and my dad are pretty close compared to a lot of people and their dads. Me and my dad do a lot together. We like to go on Saturday morning errands together and late night ice cream runs. We can quote just about every line of Zoolander and Elf at the dinner table and crack jokes at just about anything. Because of my dad I am not a girly girl and I'm not afraid of dirt or anything dirty. I love adventure and the outdoors. I love that me and my dad will always be close and I will be the one to tell him he is a being an old man curmudgeon. Love you daddy!

"In The Real World"

Today in young women's the lesson was about loving yourself. A lot of the girls in my class said they did not. I was surprised. Some of those girls can really hide it well. To be honest I can say that I love myself. People know that though because I like to have confidence in myself. Like I always say, confidence is sexy. It really is huge deciding factor in if you want someone in your life or not. Well for me at least. Most people that I associate with have a lot of confidence in themselves. I like that. I think that every one has something special to offer on this earth and that is something to feel confidence for. There isn't anyone out there that doesn't have some sort of talent. Even if you feel like you don't, you do, it may not have shown itself yet but it is there I promise you. I have a few talents that people notice. My sister and I were gifted with musical ability. My sister's is in piano and singing. Mine was the flute, which I stopped playing in eighth grade. I think that was a mistake. Music is such a powerful thing. Another thing that I was gifted with is patience. I don't know where it comes from but I am a pretty patient person. I wait for long periods of time and feel okay about it because I know if it's meant to happen, it will happen. I also remember when I was about 9 I had a best friend named Brandyn. He lived down the street from me and I was always at his house. His mom had just had a baby girl and she loved me for some reason. I remember one particular day his mom had a lot to do and the baby just wouldn't calm down. She called my mom and asked if I would come over and just hold her baby for a little while. I felt really special because as soon as I held that baby girl, she calmed right down and went to sleep. I can't wait to be a mother! So I guess I have a gift with children. My family and my close friends know that I like to write. There are some times that I feel like that is a really good talent of mine but other times I feel like it doesn't really matter to anyone. I don't think I write like anyone else and that is actually something to be proud of. I am different and I'm not afraid of that. I know I'm not your typical teenage girl. I don't enjoy shopping or reading. I don't like to be constantly busy on the weekends. I like to spend some nights watching football with my parents while everyone else is out fulfilling their attention needs. I don't like attention.. I mean I like attention but I don't like being in the spot light if that makes sense. I like to be a leader in things and I like to do my own thing. The quote "Be a leader not a follower" always comes to mind while I am at school watching all the girls who dress the same and all have the same hair and the same low standards. If I get attention I don't want it to be because I am that girl who is wearing that short skirt or that really low shirt. If I am not well known at school, your loss cause I could be that someone who teaches you something in life. So don't judge a person by their looks or by the way that others treat that person. It's not right to judge someone without even knowing them. That is what I hate about high school. Someone that I have never talked to in my life can hate my guts because of something their friend told them. Rumors never helped anyone out. Teachers always talk about how life will be "in the real world." Well guess what? We ARE in the real world.

Texting Fail

Q: When does the person you want to talk to, text you back?
A: RIGHT when you start to lose hope of any reply at all
Example:
3:27pm "Hey, I know you're really busy right now but I just really miss you!"
11:14pm *Right before you fall asleep...* *BUZZZZ* "Awh, I miss you too!"
Awesome.

Q: How long does it take for someone to text you back about something really important?
A: After it's too late
Example:
3:00pm "Hey do you know what time we are suppose to be there?"
7:12pm "We were suppose to be there at 7:00..."
COOL BRO.

Q: When do you actually get a text during school?
A: During class when you're in the front row
Example: *Your boyfriend sends you a really long, cute text and you only see the first few words. You go to look at the rest and your teacher begins to walk around the classroom suspiciously stopping right beside your table*
Great timing.

Q: Why do we get angry at text messages?
A: We can't hear tone of voice
Example:
"Hey, you're kinda cute."
"Kinda?? ouch."
Fail.

Headed For A Better Life

The hardest thing about having a long distance relationship is not being able to know the person's feelings on the other end. I could be at home with him constantly running through my head and missing him like CRAZY, while he is out laughing and having the time of his life with friends. It's pretty rough on my eyes sometimes. Music tries really hard to help me, but that doesn't always do the trick. Often times at school I feel like EVERYONE has their boyfriend attached to their hip.. or lips. PDA is not something I would be proud of people. I just miss Aaron. I miss getting up in the morning and reading a text saying "Be there in 20!" or "You've got 12 minutes..." Usually I would get those 30 seconds after stepping out of the shower. Wet hair, no make up and all, we still go out. We are big fans of spontaneity. I miss being able to say "Hey wanna come over??" and knowing that he will be here in 15 minutes. I miss telling him absolutely everything as he has his arm around me. I miss sitting on my porch swing and talking for hours and hours with my head on his shoulder. Aaron and I could always talk about nothing for the longest time. I miss watching chick flicks with him. Yes girls, he watched chick flicks with me. I think all guys secretly likes them ;) I miss going to family dinner and hearing all those family stories. I miss going to help Aaron work on his truck. Well.. watching Aaron work on his truck. I miss that boy's deep dimples that would show up when he smiled and those two spots that would turn red by them if he was smiling a lot. I used to use that as a gauge to make sure he was happy. I miss the way he would try to hide his huge smile if I made him laugh. I miss getting really embarrassed about something that happened and then hearing "Oh my goodness! YOU"RE SO CUTE!!!" I miss having him in the same state.. I miss not being able to talk to him face to face or on the phone every day. I hate that I can't hear his voice all the time. I miss getting kissed on the forehead or the nose. I miss how he used to trace my face with his fingers. I miss how he thought my eyes were the coolest thing and loved staring into them. I miss being able to spend my weekends with exactly who I want to... Every day that he is gone I probably grow a little stronger, but that doesn't make it any easier. Being strong is something that I have learned to be. Another month has gone by, one more to go. We're headed for a better life.

Don't Quit

I have had a really good past few days! This weekend my friends and I went to the football game against Columbia River. VICTORY! I love football :) On Saturday I spent most of the day with Jenna and we had a psych marathon. That is such a great show! After watching about 5 episodes we headed to a corn maze out in Battle Ground. It was closing in half an hour by the time we got there so we headed back to Bryan's house to watch the new episode of Psych. I think Jenna and I are addicted! Last night was Halloween and Jenna and I were bunnies. We took her twin sisters out trick or treating. It was so freezing! Jenna also found a blow-up chicken costume. That was hilarious.

Bunny..

Football game :)

I really liked this quote that my seminary teacher shared with our class today. It's called "Don't Quit"

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you're truding seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit --
Rest if you must, but don't you quit!

Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As everyone of us sometimes learns,
And many a person turns about
When they might have won had they stuck it out,
Don't give up though the pace seems slow --
You may succeed with another blow,
Often the struggler has given up,
When he might have captured the victors cup;
And he learned too late when the night came down,
How close he was to the golden crown!

Success is failure turned inside out!
So stick to the fight when you are hardest hit!
Its when things seem worst that you mustn't quit!
Edgar A. Guest

Sometimes life gets hard. Sometimes you just want to shut everyone out and be alone. You don't want to get out of bed or go to your next class. Just don't quit. It may rain but the rainbow is coming soon <3

Seriously Dude?

You ever just see something at school or in public and think "Seriously dude?" I know I do... EVERYONE has a few pet peeves..
1) When people come into MY house and tell me what I can and can't do
2) When people smack their food
3) Hypocrites
4) When people look at you like your stupid after telling a joke
5) When bikers don't stop at stop signs
6) When you are in the car with people and a song comes on and they pretend to know all the words
7) Two-faced people
8) People who post more than 5 statuses a day on facebook
9) When people never reply to texts....
10) When someone doesn't believe you
11) When boys don't flush. ew.
12) People who judge others without knowing them
13) UNforgiving people
14) Cheaters
15) People who over react
16) People who crave attention
17) When people break promises
Okay, let's be real here.. no one is perfect. Obviously. But most of those things can be controlled. Actually, all of them can. How do you want to be known?

My Happily Ever After

I loooove this song so much <3 It's pretty true too..
It is so true that you don't know what you have until it's gone.. I mean, I loved Aaron when he was here in Vancouver and this might sound weird but I love him so much more now that he is gone. I have realized what our relationship is really built off of. It's not like one of those relationships where you constantly have to be together, holding hands, kissing, etc. There is so much I could say about us. Being away from one another makes you have trust and strength. It's one of those things that if you can get through as a couple, you can make it through anything. Another thing I have noticed about a lot of other successful couples is that all of them have broken up once. It is interesting that people go back and fix everything and then there is never a problem after that. Love prevails A LOT. Love makes you smile, it makes you laugh, it makes you the happiest person ever. But it can also make you cry. When you love someone it makes you sad to be away from them. Thinking up scenarios in my head makes me smile even when I'm alone just sitting on my bed. I find myself many times throughout the day smiling about Aaron and Ashley scenarios. People probably think I'm crazy. Oh well! My favorite thing ever is when I'm about to fall asleep and Aaron calls me just to say "Goodnight beautiful" :) Sweet, simple and to the point. That is all it takes to make me happy. I don't want/need a bunch of stuff to please me. I just want to be loved like every other person on earth, and that is what I'm getting. I will continue towards my happily ever after.

What is happily ever after?
I have a pretty good idea of what I want my happily ever after to be. I want to get married in the Portland, OR Temple or the Rexburg, ID temple.

My husband is my best friend and I want our children to have a good childhood. I want to be able to say to my kids that I went to college and got my dream education. I think Aaron got me hooked on the whole idea of not having neighbors because of where he lives. I want to live somewhere my kids can run and have adventure beyond belief without having to worry about being hit by the car coming down the road. I want to be able to have campfires in my backyard without anyone calling the fire department. Having no neighbors seems pretty amazing to me. I want to have a big doggie that me and my kids will love. I love big dogs. I want to be a good wife and someone that my husband and children look to as an example. I want to keep a strong relationship with my husband throughout our marriage. I never want to go to bed angry. I want to stay strong in my church and keep a strong testimony always. I want to live where my parents can see my kids every once in a while. Maybe not right next door, but my kids will know who grandma and grandpa are. I want to teach my kids right from wrong with my husband. I want to have fun conversations at the dinner table. I want to be able to see my own kids grow up and have families of their own. Is that too much to ask?
I will continue to work towards my happily ever after.

Story of My Life

I don't have a lot to say today so I'm just going to post some pictures. Life is great and I love the people in it! :)

Cutest baby everrrrr

 Adventures with Stephanie Powers

 Western Day <3

 :)

Hahahah story of my life :):)

The BEST of the BEST

I had to start out with this picture so that I could tag Sienna Powers. This is what happens when you have a sleepover at the Powers house. Me, Stephanie, and Sienna all slept in the same bed last night and this is what Sienna looks like in the morning. We laughed for a long time about this because it was like a rat nest in the back...

SO I basically had the best weekend ever. Friday night Stephanie came over and we played Just Dance 3 and it was so much fun! Saturday I got to sleep in thank goodness and my mommy mad me waffles. I <3 waffles. Then I got ready for the best of EFY and headed to that with Stephanie and Nikki. Nikki broke her arm a few days ago though so she left because she was in a lot of pain :( But Stephanie and I sat with Sienna and listened to the speakers. The first speaker was Hank Smith. THE funniest man I have ever been in the presence of. His talk was on friends and how important they are in our lives. One of my favorite quotes that he used was "Do you love your friends or do you love having friends?" I think that is something a lot of people need to think about. Most of the "popular" kids in school don't even like their friends. They just like the idea of everyone liking them and giving them attention. How sad. Another quote I liked was "dressing immodestly is like rolling in manure; you'll get a lot of attention, but mostly from pigs." The second speaker was Brother Jacobs and his topic was "How To Be Chaste While Being Chased" and there was quote that made the whole congregation just bust up laughing; "Raw meat only attracts dogs." (Referring to modesty) Stephanie, Sienna and I all just looked at each other and kinda said "WHAT!" and started laughing. It was so funny that he said that over the pulpit! We then had dinner with everyone. The dance was like the funnest thing ever. It was so hot in there, but it was still a night to remember. Me and my friends actually danced and we were crazy and guess what? IT WAS FUN. Being crazy with your friends and bold is not something that we do often, but when we do we always have a great time. After the dance we went to dessert and Sienna and I went to Stephanie's house to spend the night. I like that me and those girls can talk and laugh about anything. We have fun together. Today we woke up and just kinda laid around for a while cause Steph's church isn't until1pm. We went to church which was good, then came home and played Just Dance. We kinda love that game. We decided that we were going to make home made Reese's but that just turned into Sienna making Reese's and Steph and I dancing. Sorry Sienna! haha All in all, amazing weekend full of laughs and spiritual uplifting moments. :)

BABY!!!

Look at the BABY!! She is soo cute!! I want one.

I also want these...
Are those not the cutest heels you have ever seen?! Yeah, they are. :)

Last night I spent like 7 hours on homework which is totally GROSS. Goodness. Who does that?! Yeah, apparently I do! I did like 25 math problems, 10 articles and 10 MLA citations for my RAP paper without using easybib.com which takes forever! I did notes for history and then a graphic organizer on 5 reformers. OH and I also did a book report. That was all due in one day. Sickening. But then I went to dinner with my parents and it was a really good night. I got to talk about me and only me because it was just the three of us. It was fun. Me and my dad laughed hysterically and the dumbest things!
But today was a good day. Just a relaxed Friday at school. Nothing major to do in class and we had a really interesting discussion in Environmental Science today about toxins in our food. It was kinda gross but I thought it was interesting. After school I went to the mall with my sister and I got some cute new earrings. I came home and had a nice dinner with my family and now Stephanie is coming over so we can play Just Dance 3. I'm super excited. Life is just good :)
I love my family
I love my friends
I love Aaron Davis
The End :)

It's Like Titanic... Without the Boy

Early Release days are awesome. Go to school for 3 hours and then hang out with my friends. Today after school Stephanie came over and then we went to Seize the Bagel with Heather and Rachael. After that we decided we wanted to go to the View Point over by QFC so we met up with Clarisa and went up there. This is what me and my friends do when we are together... I <3 them.

"It's like titanic.. but without the hot guy"

I looooove this picture <3

I Ain't Ever Changin' My Mind

So for a Monday today was awesome. I went back to school and surprisingly my teachers were happy to see me. They were nice about the make up work that I had to do and my English teacher even told me I don't have to do anything for her class until I know for sure I am caught up with the rest of my classes. I <3 her. Same with my History teacher. He did give me a few things to do, but told me to take my time getting them in. Nice of my math teacher to have about 6 pages of math to do. Not my favorite subject. :P But it's whatever. I'm just happy that I can be out of the house and healthy again. It is the little things that make my day too :) Like this note I found in my scriptures.. :)

We had my sister's 22nd birthday dinner last night as a family. It was nice I guess.. although I have a hard time with the way my brother acts towards me sometimes, I try to push through. At the end of the night I was pretty upset because of a few things that had been said to me. I was texting Aaron and he knew how upset I was. He called me and we talked it all out. He makes everything so much better. I love that I can talk to him about anything and know that he will listen and do his best to get me smiling again. He did a good job. We talked for a while and by the end of the conversation I had forgotten why I was even upset. I think it is cool to be able to call your boyfriend your bestfriend. That is something that everyone says and it's pretty cliche but whatever. It's true. When we first started hanging out we would just sit in my family room and talk for hours and hours. I remember the first time we talked for a long time. After I could tell there was something different about this boy. He was real and he didn't want to talk for the reasons that other boys did. He really cared about what I had to say and he was genuine. I loved that about him. I'm happy to say our relationship is still that way. If he were in front of me right now I know for a fact we would have something to talk about. No matter what, we always do. I love that we became best friends before we jumped into our relationship the second time. What some people don't know about Aaron and I is that we broke up back in May. But once we got over everything, we became best friends. We hung out every day and it was different than anything I had ever felt for anyone. There was something about us together that was just.. right. This summer when we would hangout I didn't know if he wanted to be with me again. I didn't know if I was the only one that still had feelings for him. Towards the end of July he started showing me that it wasn't just me. As we came back from the movies one night the song "Crazy Girl" came on,
which I had heard a few times but didn't really think anything of it. As the lyrics "Crazy girl don't you know that I love you?"
came on he looked at me and said "Woooowww new favorite song!" I knew then that there was no other girl the song could possibly be about. I got the biggest smile on my face. I went home and thought about that song. A few weeks later while at the beach Aaron pulled out a coin and said "Make a wish" I said okay and he did too. We tossed the coin into the ocean and he quickly said "What did you wish for?!" I said "What did YOU wish for?" but I got no answer. I told him what I wished for but he wouldn't tell me what he wished for. On the way home I whispered "What did you wish for?" he grabbed my hand and smiled. Still wouldn't tell me though! As I was about to walk into my house that night I said once more "What did you wish for?" and he looked deep into my eyes and said "You." probably the cutest thing ever. :)
