I've been watching General Conference today and I wrote down this quote: "In the kingdom of God, there are no second class citizens" and I don't remember who said it.. but I like that.
I had a great first night of Spring Break. The priest/laurel activity was really fun :) My date was a gentleman and did a great job of not making anything awkward. Not the best picture of me.. but it was a good night :)

When I got home yesterday I decided I would check the mail. Usually when I come home from school, the mail hasn't come yet but I thought "Hey, might as well check." Best idea ever! I got a letter from AUSTRALIA yesterday!! Along with pictures :) Hahaha I <3 missionaries!!

I have been reading "The Lucky One" this week and it is a really great book. I can't wait for the movie to come out because Zac Efron is in it ;) 

Ahh this is going to be the BEST movie!!

I just found out that Rascal Flatts is coming out with a new album and I am SO excited! They are my favorite band. This is their new single that I loveeeee. Ahh 7 more days!!

Do I End Up Happy?

My best friend showed me this song a few weeks ago and I have been listening to it NONSTOP all week. I loooooove it. 

This week has been incredibly long. I have pretty much scrubbed it all week because it's been raining and cold and when it rains, I would rather stay warm than look cute. *Example: I am sitting on my couch in footy pajamas as I type this :)* I thought it was spring? Gosh. It was spring for a day or two but now its like 40 degrees and TORRENTIAL DOWNPOUR. Then if it's not raining, it's sunny with 20mph wind! Washington is crazy. Just gotta love it.

Tonight was camp kick off! Yay for being a YCL this year! I'm excited for this year, our group always gets so close and we all bond so much (cliche I know, but it's true). The theme is "Back In Time" and YCLs are 80s. It feels good to be king ;)

My mom is in Texas this week so I've been playing "Mommy" all week. It's fun but I know what moms go through every day now! And I don't even do it all. All I do is feed the dog, get myself up and ready for school then come home, make dinner and then clean it up. I think dad and I are gonna go out to eat tomorrow just cause we can. haha 

TGIT? Thank goodness it's only Thursday! Yesterday I woke up and my throat hurt a little and I thought to myself "NOOO! Not the time to be getting sick!" So I chugged water alll day and guess what? My throat wasn't sore anymore! I have been sneezing a lot though and my nose is a little stuffy so I'm glad it's only Thursday so I won't be sick on Friday. Not gonna lie, I'm excited to see how this priest/laurel activity goes! :)

I'm trying to focus more on the positive than the negative. It's hard sometimes but I'm gettin there.

I love when songs relate to your life, they make you feel a lot better about your situation.
I really love editing pictures too, another great source of relief. My dad thinks it's bad that I think I'm cute. But hey, confidence is good right? ;) And webcams are SO MUCH FUN! Blue socks are pretty fun too ;)

I got asked to priest/laurel activity yesterday! It was fun to piece the puzzle together and then flip it over. I'm going to respond in a cute way :)

It's almost spring break! Thank goodness. It's finally getting nice here too.. after a snow day yesterday, the sunshine is just what we all needed to see :) As I walk through the halls at school I look at all the girls and then I look at myself and think "What is so different?" Well I have figured it out. I don't care what people think about me a lot of times. I don't go out of my way to get attention from people and I don't even like attention really. Not at school anyway. School isn't exactly my "safe place". On my weekends I like to be with my church friends, I love to write, I like spending time with my family and I enjoy reading tumblrs/blogs. I wear more clothes than I do make up and I keep my mouth shut a lot of times. I don't go to parties often or even consider myself "popular". I wouldn't say I have a ton of friends, but I have the important ones close to me. I like going to seminary and being around people with standards. I don't mind being different because in the end, who will ultimately be happier? Money isn't everything, kissing the most guys, going to the best party, getting attention, having the hottest boyfriend or even the most friends. If you asked me what's important to me in my life, none of those things would even be in my top 100. That's who I am and I'm glad I'm not your average school girl walking through the halls.

Daddy, I Want an Over Sized Bunny

My title today is from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. When the little bratty girl says "Daddy, I want squirrel. But not just any squirrel, a TRAINED squirrel." Well.. I want this bunny.....

I went to a dance performance for Union last night to watch my best friend Jenna. Paige and Mckenna were there and not gonna lie, it was pretty freaking good! I didn't know my friends had legit SWAG! It was awesome. Good luck at state guys! 

Priest/Laurel activity is next weekend and I still don't know who I'm going with.. but I get my dress this weekend! I'm excited that my best friend will be there to tell me how it looks.. haha not a lot of times you get a friend who is willing to tell you the truth about how you look. Hopefully it goes well :)

Tumblr is the best thing ever when you're just thinking about life. Today I found "My Six Word Love Story" tumblr and I LOVE it. Every girl can relate to these, there are even some about hard feelings but I wanted to focus on some of the ones that made me smile :)
